Kirsten Ireland was born on November 7, 1979. She was raised in a small factory town in Indiana. Growing up in a town nestled between two glass factories and corn fields, she basically had nothing better to do than write. She began writing at an early age, brightening the lives of her family members with stories that sometimes made sense and sometimes didn’t. Most of these stories are currently being held in a large vault (sometimes called a cardboard box) tucked away in the spare bedroom closet of her grandparents home in Indiana.
Kirsten is the author of an enormous amount of poetry, essays, and short stories that no one has ever seen, as well as a piece or two, here and there, that have actually made it out to the public. She is currently working on her first novel (or so it is rumored).
Kirsten currently resides in the sprawling metropolis of Greensboro North Carolina, where she is also a portrait painter as well as a singer/songwriter.
